Our volunteer gatehouse renovation crew is hard at work every Tuesday morning transforming the former mill gatehouse building into a paper mill museum. They welcome visitors to stop by on Tuesdays, between 8am and noon, to see the work that is being done and the progress that has been made.
Please note that the museum is still a work-in-progress. There is still work to do before we can put our permanent exhibits in place.
Questions? Contact Restoration Foreman Chip Stubbs at 207-299-5291 (please leave a message) or chip9516@gmail.com. Chip is also available to meet with you at the museum on other days (by appointment) for a viewing, to receive donations, to work, or to visit. He likes to show what his volunteers are doing, what artifacts people have donated, and to hear other people's ideas and thoughts. We would also love to hear your stories about the mill, so stop by on a Tuesday morning and share your stories with our renovation crew!
Want to lend a hand? We are always looking for volunteers to help us get the museum up and running. Stop by on a Tuesday morning to join our work crew or if you are interested in other ways to volunteer or support our efforts, reach out to us at bucksportmillmuseum@gmail.com.
