As the Community and Aspirations Coordinator for RSU 25, which serves the students of Bucksport, Verona Island, Orland, and Prospect, I both look for opportunities to enhance aspirational opportunities for students and also to expand school and community collaboration. My role in this Aspire Golden Bucks initiative has continued to evolve and grow since its inception in the Fall of 2020. Prior to that, I spent fifteen years at the Challenger Learning Center of Maine getting youth excited about skills and potential careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, including the paper industry. I am excited to find opportunities to connect students, teachers, and families with the paper mill museum and serve as a liaison between the local schools and the paper mill museum.
